泰国拥有丰富多样的材料资源和传统的建筑技艺，然而在办公室设计中却鲜少采用本地方法，因为它们通常被认为无法达到现代办公环境所需的材料标准和性能。彭博（Bloomberg）曼谷办公室却恰恰运用了当地手工技艺，并取材于当地，打造了一个兼具品质与特色的现代化办公场所。

Bloomberg Bangkok is a modern workplace that makes use of locally crafted and sourced techniques and fabrication. Thailand possesses a rich abundance of resources in materials and traditional construction, yet office design rarely makes use of local methods as they are seen as compromises against the performance and requirements of a modern workplace.

彭博曼谷办公室位于曼谷金融中心的高层建筑中，总共约七百平方米。室内空间的设计深入考量了办公的实用功能，工作、会议、技术应用及储物等区域经过精心布局。功能、工艺与形式通过材料在整个办公空间中以本地语境得到了统一的诠释。

The design of Bloomberg Bangkok considered the practical functions of the workspace to understand and focus on how they can be interpreted in the local context. Working, meeting, technological and storage functions were analyzed and laid out along the seven hundred square meter interior space of the high-rise building located in Bangkok’s financial center. Function, craft and form were then interpreted throughout the workplace.

其中，茶水区是办公室的核心元素之一，其设计融入了本地形式与材料。设计团队与泰国编织工匠团体Patapian合作，为该办公室开发了功能性材料和饰面。

The Pantry is one of the core elements of the Bloomberg office and was designed with local forms and materials.Architectkidd collaborated with Thai weaving artisans Patapian to develop functional materials and finishes for Bloomberg Bangkok.

在开放式办公区域，工作区与公共区之间需要视觉上的隐私分隔，同时又要保持光线的通透。为此，安装了一种定制设计的隔断，采用半透明尼龙材料，以对角线交错编织的图案呈现。

In the open office area, visual privacy was needed between the working and public zones, while maintaining light transmission. A custom-designed partition using translucent nylon was installed in a diagonally interlaced pattern.

通过调整斜向编织层的密度，实现了隔断的可变性，在保证充足自然光线漫射的同时，有效模糊了视线。

Variability was achieved by adjusting the density of the diagonal layers, allowing sufficient daylight diffusion while blurring views.

对于入口和会议区域，隔断墙采用了编织面板系统。该设计由竹条与金属条以斜纹编织图案交错编织而成。设计团队与沙缴府（Sa Kaeo）的一个当地社区合作，负责竹材的获取、测试及面板的制作。这种手工打造的竹编设计不仅促进了可持续性，更展现了泰国的编织文化。

For the entrance and meeting areas, a woven panel system was designed for the partition walls. Made from interlacing bamboo and metal strips in a twill weaving pattern, the design team collaborated with a local community in Sa Kaeo to source, test and produce the panels. The hand-made bamboo design promotes sustainability and expresses Thailand’s weaving culture with the world.

彭博曼谷办公室所使用的各种材料相互融合，共同为使用者营造了一个实用且独具特色的环境，为当代办公空间注入本地化的洞察力。

The materials of the Bloomberg office in Bangkok blend together to create a practical and distinct environment for the workplace’s users. With the Bloomberg Bangkok Office, the design aims to generate local insight towards the contemporary workplace.
