In the heart of Wuhan’s National Cybersecurity Headquarters Campus, seven fluidly contoured buildings have emerged and reflects streamlined silhouettes that echo the forward-thinking ethos of the cybersecurity industry. The masterplan integrates public spaces that encourage interaction and enhance operational efficiency as a cybersecurity hub.
Located along the northern edge of Cybersecurity Avenue, the project enjoys a prominent urban frontage that enhances its visibility and civic presence. The masterplan responds to the constraints of an irregular, elongated rhomboid site, efficiently accommodating a mix of commercial, office, and serviced apartment functions, while creating vibrant public spaces. The buildings are placed along the perimeter of the site, forming two courtyard spacesat the centre. Thecourtyards, together with a landscaped plaza at the entrance, connect with the central public plaza of the campus.

Two serviced apartmenttowers are positioned at the southwest corner of the site, away from the main roads, offering residents a tranquil living environment. Five office towers are arranged sequentially along the street frontagelinked by a shared podium, creating a layered and dynamic urban skyline. The towers adopt streamlined silhouettes paired with abstract horizontal façade fins, evoking the rapid transmission of data across computer systems and communication networks.A sophisticated material palette of aluminium strips introduces a layered, kinetic aesthetic. Theservicedapartment and office towers are distinguished through subtle variations, ensuring clear visual identity for each function within the integrated development.

Office spaces feature flexible layouts that accommodate enterprises of varying scales, with public zones serving as connective elements to support interaction and future growth. Multi-level skybridges link the towers, while distinct circulation routes for residential and office functions ensure operational clarity and independence. Courtyards and layered green parksare connected to form a multi-layeredcomplex.
‘The design seamlessly blends the space with a multi-dimensional landscape of layered greenery, creating unique convergence value for the city and industry.’ Zihuan says.
